1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Nujj mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms apply to all users of the App, including both partners in a connected relationship.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years of age to use Nujj. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. If we discover that a user is under 17, we will immediately terminate their account and delete all associated data.

3. Account Registration

To use Nujj, you must create an account. You agree to:

• •Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• •Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
• •Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account
• •Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

You may register using an email/password, Google account, or Facebook account. Third-party sign-in methods are subject to their respective terms of service.

4. Partner Connection

Nujj is designed exclusively for two connected partners. By connecting with another user via QR code, you agree that:

• •Both parties consent to the connection and sharing of the private relationship space
• •Content created in the shared space (messages, timeline, tasks, reminders) is visible to your connected partner
• •Either partner may disconnect the relationship at any time through the app settings
• •Upon disconnection, shared relationship data is removed from the active app but may be retained in backups for up to 90 days per our Privacy Policy

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create within the App, including messages, photos, timeline entries, and other data ("User Content"). By using the App, you grant Nujj a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of operating the App and delivering its features to you and your connected partner.

You are solely responsible for the User Content you create. You agree not to post, upload, or share content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, explicit, or otherwise objectionable.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• •Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
• •Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the App or its systems
• •Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
• •Use the App to harass, stalk, or harm another person
• •Upload malicious code, viruses, or any software that could damage the App or other users' devices
• •Resell, sublicence, or commercially exploit the App or any of its features
• •Create multiple accounts or connect with more than one partner simultaneously

7. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

Nujj offers optional in-app purchases through the Google Play Store and (when available) the Apple App Store:

• •Remove Ads (one-time purchase): Permanently removes banner advertisements from the App.
• •Premium Subscription (monthly): Unlocks premium features including unlimited timeline photos, app lock, and more.

All purchases are processed by Google Play or Apple and are subject to their respective refund and billing policies. Prices are displayed in your local currency at the time of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods.

8. Push Notifications & the Nujj Feature

The App uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to send push notifications, including the "Nujj" nudge feature which sends a real-time notification to your connected partner. By enabling notifications and the shake-to-Nujj feature, you consent to receiving these communications. You may disable notifications at any time through your device settings or within the App.

9. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the App — including its design, branding, code, graphics, and features — belong exclusively to Nujj. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or other proprietary materials without our prior written consent. User Content remains the property of the user who created it.

10. Disclaimers

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• •The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components
• •Any defects in the App will be corrected
• •The App will meet your specific requirements

We are not responsible for any relationship outcomes, emotional distress, or personal disputes that may arise from use of the App.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Nujj and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of goodwill — arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time through the in-app settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, with or without notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to access the App ceases immediately and your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and notify you through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the App.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the applicable territory. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
